SBM Management is searching for a GMP Director! The GMP Director is responsible for supporting business development in growth of GMP Regulated Services business units. They provide support to multiple projects concurrently utilizing operations experience with an emphasis on GMP compliance and process excellence. They also must apply applicable industry best-known-methods, Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools along with other improvement methodologies/tools to foster a culture of self-managed services.
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in the field as well as supervisory/coaching experience.
Must have experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools and training others the methodologies or use of tools.
Must also have knowledge of related industry standards and regulations.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and general public.
Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly in the area of MS Excel.
Experience with integrating data from multiple systems into single application or platform.
Customer service, problem solving, time management, project management, planning, excellent communication, presentation, interviewing, coaching and training skills.
Ability to initiate plans and use independent judgment.
Ability to generate, follow, and explain detailed instructions and inspection procedures.
Ability to complete detailed documentation accurately.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with various functional groups.
Demonstrated Lean Six Sigma application skills. Demonstrated ability to operate small hand tools (e.g. pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, wrenches, etc.), power tools and test/inspection equipment.
Available Shift: Must have flexible work hours (50% travel)
