    SBM Management is looking to hire a Propsal Writer to join their team!  The Proposal Writer's primary role is to review and assist with all external communications in regards to complex RFP's, to check for accuracy both grammatical and technical and responsible for the final production activity of proposals and customer deliverables. Develops, writes, and edits material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, and related technical and marketing publications in print or electronic media.


    • Work with management to assist in the development and maintenance of proposal communications and marketing materials, review process, production schedule and the enforcement and ownership of related deadlines.
    • Distributes RFP and associated materials to executive team and ensures that all updates/amendments/modifications are received and distributed in a timely manner.
    • Assists with and serves as point of contact for compiling and formatting the proposal documents. Receive, send and coordinate proposal and media materials.
    • Format, tailor and edit all proposals; work closely with other departments to assure all submissions are client-centric and conform to all proposal requirements.
    • Studies industry standards, business results, competing marketing materials, parts lists, and RFP samples to integrate and delineate technology, operating procedure, and production sequence and detail.
    • Contribute to the development of standard proposal-ready content (boilerplates) for use in future proposal development efforts and capturing any new language for addition to the proposal library.
    • Maintenance of proposal library on SBM portal, documents including client letters of recommendations, FAQ on proposal questions and information for both internal and external consumption and testimonials.
    • Provide proofreading and technical support to Marketing team.
    • Selects photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material.
    • Prepares or arranges for preparation of index.
    • Assists in laying out material for publication.
    • Arranges for formatting, reproduction, and distribution of material.


    • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • May require a valid driver’s license.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
    • Must be organized and can manage multiple projects and respect deadlines.

    Available Shift:  Full Time


    Compensation:  Depends on experience
