    SBM Management is searching for a dynamic Account Manager to manage our facilities.  The Account Manager is responsible for helping oversee local operational accounts and growing the geographical footprint within the designated market.  The ideal candidate will be someone who is self-motivated and hungry to grow.


    • Networks within local markets to help increase SBM’s footprint
    • Supports local accounts to establish strong relationships to position the company for future growth
    • Leads business development efforts, from initial contact to bid submission
    • Demonstrates leadership in and leads by example in moving the organization’s culture to Safety as a Value.   Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, such as FLSA, OSHA, ADA, etc.
    • Manages costs and revenues to meet company top and bottom line financial goals including:
    • Expanding business, negotiating increases with Customers, reduction of operating costs, and or changes in schedules or processes.
    • Coordinating and directing operations necessary to carry out contractual responsibilities and profitability that meet both the Customer’s contractual expectations but to exceed their service expectations resulting in the creation of complete Customer satisfaction.
    • Manages customer relationship to help increase organic growth
    • Manages and retains a qualified staff that is reasonably satisfied with position and compensation, understands and is trained for their position and has a clear line of sight to the goals and expectations of the company and recognized the impact their contributions to the Company.
    • Understands and leads the change from a “great supplier” to a “great partner”.
    • Demonstrates the highest level of integrity and honesty.
    • Travel is required for this position.

    Supervisory Responsibilities                                                  

    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
    • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • Experience with facility management is required
    • Experience managing large janitorial crews
    • Customer relationship management experience required

    Available Shift:  Full Time


    Compensation:  Depends on experience
