SBM Management is currently looking to hire a Procurement Sourcing Services Buyer to join their team! The Procurement Sourcing Services Buyer is the frontline support for sourcing and negotiating our company’s procurement service needs. This position coordinates with our corporate staff, operation management as well as Subcontractors to research, identify and leverage best practices leading to the timely delivery of services focused on quality, service, and cost expectations.


  • Creates and manages all sourcing events for subcontracted services for Business Development, new site transitions, and existing sites.
  • Provides top-level customer service to our sites and subcontractors for relationship management, and provides guidance and understanding to accurately source the needs requested.
  • Coordinates with subcontractors and management to identify and nurture preferred partnerships.
  • Manages large category programs and service partner performance to the contract and expectations of the company.
  • Perform audits of data in ensure a high level of accuracy and integrity is maintained.
  • Analyzes quote trends to help drive cost savings for the company.
  • Analyzes each sourcing event to provide recommendation for award. Responsible for maintaining and sharing data for reporting and archive purposes.
  • Manages assigned tickets, email, data files, and sourcing tool to ensure all sourcing requests are assigned, approved, accurate, and completed timely.
  • Works a variety of projects as assigned by procurement management.


  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.  
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Proficient with Microsoft office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service and professionalism to a variety of partners and customers in complex and demanding situations



The starting pay range for this position is $55,000-$60,000 per year.
