SBM Management is currently looking to hire a GMP Assistant Manager to join their team!  This position has responsibilities for coordinating activities within the assigned areas in the GMP program. This includes the company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program. Inspects areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation, OSHA regulations and site specific SOPs.

Responsabilidades

  • Performs duties of employees within the program assigned.
  • Trains, supervises and instructs employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinates and monitors work activities, recommends training and issues discipline.
  • Prepares written reports, such as pass down, and/or weekly/monthly updates.
  • Performs quality, service, and safety inspections.
  • Tracks equipment inventory, and schedules maintenance and repair.
  • Track supplies inventory.
  • Monitors employees for proper use of personal protective equipment to assure safety compliance
  • Reports employee personnel and customer issues to manager.
  • Corrects at risk behavior immediately, then reports to the manager immediately.
  • Provides recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement.
  • Maintain records, i.e. training, inspections, attendance and metric data.
  • Responsible for ensuring building is inspection/audit ready at all times.
  • Familiar with supervisor responsibilities.
  • Some travel may be required for this position.

Certificaciones

  • Supervises employees performing facilities support services in the GMP program.
  • Is responsible for the direction, coordination, and evaluation of the GMP program.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Ensures employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements. 
  • Six months to 1 year related experience and/or training; High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and understand documents such as SOPs, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to customers, contractors, or employees of organization.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Good written and verbal skills, excellent customer service skills, training abilities, time management skills, problem solving skills, presentation skills, and coaching skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License to operate company or personal vehicles.
  • May be required to be Forklift certified.
