SBM Management is currently looking to hire a Billing Compliance Manager to join their team.  The Billing Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing an effective billing development, training and compliance programs. This position works with management in achieving business objectives by creating audit solutions to improve business operations, while remaining objective and independent.


  • Provide management of receivables to ensure services provided meet timely and accurate billing and collection of accounts.
  • Develop and maintain interactive learning solutions, working within JDE, billing Portal and InSite platform billing environment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of receivables and the resolution of all accounts receivable problems and handling of customer service issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with operations to develop and implement strategies beneficial to SBM in developing consistency and accuracy of billing and trainings.
  • Ensure all billing is compliant with applicable policies and procedures, including regulatory billing compliance.
  • Responsible for managing a collaborative compliance program that highlights high and low performers and any necessary corrective actions.
  • This role will drive measurable business results, ensure that those solutions are instructionally sound, and adhere to quality standards.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and decision-making skills and a working knowledge of healthcare business office practices and procedures.
  • Drive process & systems / platform improvements upstream / downstream on known gaps that contribute to billing errors.
  • Completes regular quality audits of staff’s work, records results and counsels staff to bring work to or above standards.
  • Travel may be required.


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, or Education or equivalent; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior training experience should include a focus on decentralized operations.
  • Familiarity with basic business and accounting processes (e.g. PO, billing, etc.) is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and able to make independent decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
